UK Distribution Manager. So how does this 'shopping trolley' work?
Your on-line 'shopping trolley' is similar to a shopping trolley at a supermarket. The only difference is that the on-line trolley follows your instructions instead of careering off into the nearest shop window. When you click on a 'Buy' button (see right) under a products description, it is like taking the item from the shelf. The computer puts that item into your 'trolley', and lets you continue shopping for other items.Buy button. Click any of these on the products pages to put that product into your cart to buy. There is no problem with changing your mind and putting the item back on the shelf (or buying 2 or 3!). Just click "increase" or "decrease" on the shopping trolley.

View button. Click one of these buttons to check what's in your cart so far.Any time that you want to check the total cost of goods in your trolley, or check that an item made it into your trolley successfully, simply click on a 'view' button (see right) and the list will appear.

Checkout button. Click one of these buttons to fill in your delivery details and finalise payments. Within 3 weeks, the goods will be at your doorstep.Once you're almost sure that you have everything you want to buy from NI on-line, you can continue onto the 'checkout'. By clicking one of the 'checkout' buttons (see right) you can fill in your name, delivery address and payment details to finalise your order. (The delivery address can be your own, or it can be a friend's for a gift order.)

That's it! It's that simple. Next you will receive a confirmation email outlining all the products you ordered. We will normally despatch your order within a few days of receiving it. But please allow around 2 to 3 weeks for the goods to arrive at your doorstep.

Note for UK customers
Our larger parcels are sent by a service which requires a signature on receipt. Please consider putting an alternative delivery address (your work address for example) if you know that you are unlikely to be at home to receive the parcel. If the delivery company tries to deliver but no-one is in, they will leave a card with a phone number you can call to arrange for the parcel to be redelivered or diverted to a post office near you for you to collect at your convenience. There is no extra charge for this.

Any problems or questions you have along the way can be emailed to Jo Lateu at the Oxford New Internationalist office, who will be glad to help you out.
