That was back in the very late 50s. I have over the years written numerous articles about it and in my much earlier book on Tamil Agriculture also stated that it was the only way to meet people's need of a secure life and to grow enough food. I hope and pray that something really happens to guarantee rights to poor farmers and landless labourers all over the country including the scheduled castes and tribes. Without a meaningful land rewform India will not be able to feed its people in 2050.
