New Internationalist Issue 283
The material that follows has been provided by New Internationalist
From Nikki van der Gaag

Why should New Internationalist do an issue on refugees? The reason is that refugees are often seen in a negative light, as helpless dependents unable to think for themselves. It was with this in mind that the New Internationalist decided to visit one particular refugee camp - Ikafe, a settlement for Sudanese refugees in northernmost Uganda. The voices you can hear are the voices of refugee children in the camp, singing from their classroom under the shade of a large tree.
