Boycott Goods from the Settlements
‘Maybe it is advisable for a campaign abroad to single out some recognizable products, which you find yourself, offered to consumers in your country; it seems advisable to concentrate on retail chains, of which branches are to be found in every shopping centre. Products such as Achva Halva sesame-seed sweets, Barkan wines and Ahava toiletries, produced in the West Bank, or Yarden Wines from the Golan Heights. It has been tried in Holland and England, and several times with success, to convince a department store to remove such products from the shelves. In each of these cases it was reported in the Israeli media, and the message is very clear: “We are not against Israel as such, but we are adamantly against the settlements.”’
